Berkeley Latenight Basketball
Modeled after the National Midnight Basketball Program, Berkeley Latenight is an alternative recreation program held on Friday evenings at the city's Young Adult Project, and was designed to deter young people away from crimnial activity and antisocial behavior during the time on weekends when crime rates are extremely high.

The program offers a safe environment for young people to engage in a pre-game informational workshops that cover employment & training, community awareness, health & wellness, and continued education. Berkeley Latenight Basketball league games are on Fridays evenings at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. with program sessions that are conducted in the Fall, Sping and Summer. The program also held outdoor summer sessions at the University of California Berkeley's People's Park.
