| David Barksdale, longtime player/coach in the Berkeley Latenight Basketball Program has embarked on a career in the entertainment industry with his Knight Rider Records label. AUP's Community Media Outreach Project recently paid a couple of visits to David's popular Hip Hop Showcase performances at Downtown Berkeley's Lucre Lounge. Through this popular monthly event, David is creating opportunities for young people to gain exposure in the Bay Area's evergrowing world of hip hop entertainment. |
