| This documentary film project was started in 2001, when AUP Media producer Doug Harris decided to film the Segundo Barrio (El Paso) community and capture the essence of how the unique basketball camp was started. Through interviews with civic leaders and members of the community, Harris began to weeve the footage into a compelling story that captures the essence of El Paso's rich history and culture. In 2005, Basketball in the Barrio was part of the worldwide activities associated with the United Nations International Year of Sport. |
